Yay me! Went to my weigh in yesterday, and guess what? My first week went great and I've lost 1.8 kg (almost 4 lbs). With no excersise whatsoever with my foot hurting and all (I hurt my foot when I was leaving for my excersise last tuesday, I thankfully didn't break it but it still hurts a bit). Had a good week I think. No temptations, but I didn't feel like I was depriving myself of anything either. So basically, I hope I'll be able to continue in the same way and hopefully reach my first star next monday (1 star = 3 kg). Hopefully my foot will be better in a day or two so that I can get back into my excersise routine. That would help my weight loss along a lot I think.
This week I've already had my mother in law over for lunch twice. Made fish with potatoes yesterday and sausage with pasta today. She loved it and called me a good chef ;-) Have to love her for that! ;-) She'll be moving out of her apartment on Saturday and we'll go to her new place tomorrow with some plants and stuff ("because you drive so carefully, dear, I don't trust your husband with them!"). Have to love her for that too ;-)
I placed an order for some Weight Watchers candy last week. I hope it'll arrive soon. Was a bit disappointed with the ones I bought yesterday at my meeting though. They were ok, but I had hope for a tastier kind. Never tried them befor, they're bars called "Soft Strawberry", with dark chokolate. Well, the good thing is that if they're not too tasty, the will last longer ;-)
Well, I better sign off for now, have heaps of work to do before hubby comes home on Friday. Miss him! ;-)

Well done on the loss Tina! I started weight watchers just over a week ago and lost 4.5 pounds in my first week. i'm hoping to lose 2.5 pounds next week so I can get my silver 7, which is probably equivalent to your star. You're doing really well, so stick with it. Sharing thoughts with other people in various areas of the world is really inspiring and motivating and has helped me a lot.
